Lauren McDowell Bio
Lauren McDowell joined the Detroit Batting Academy in 2009. She is responsible for hitting, fielding, catching, and basic fundamental lessons. Lauren has an extensive background in coaching and developing skills of young female athletes. She started her coaching career as the Freshman Softball coach at Cousino High School in 2006 and is currently the head coach of the J.V. Softball Team at L’Anse Cruse High School.
Prior to coaching Lauren was a 4 year starter on Varsity at Cousino High School. Her sophomore year she was name Honorable Mention (2001) and in her junior year was All Conference (2002). At the DBA Lauren will be conducting private and group lessons as well as specialized clinics
